that it’s capable of soaking everything round in its perfume.

Stone fruit,

Our plums, peaches and apricots are raised in zones with
some of the highest solar radiation in Spain, strengthening
the flavour, colour and sugar content of the fruit.

Given the current demand for the best quality, Plus Berries emerges as a “plus” that seeks the highest levels of professionalism and confidence in the production of a full line of berries and stone fruits. To that end, six companies from Southern Spain specialising in high quality berry and stone fruit production have joined forces to bring their products to market. They offer clients a wide variety of fruit direct from the grower, by means of an innovative initiative to facilitate customer service whilst guaranteeing the highest quality fruit.

STONE FRUIT

Our plums, peaches and apricots are raised in zones with some of the highest solar radiation in Spain, strengthening the flavour, colour and sugar content of the fruit.

Crops

The hydroponic cultivation technique is used and done in
flowerpots hung on trellises in macrotunnel greenhouses.
Cultivation incorporates the most cutting-edge technology and
is monitored throughout its development phase to ensure
fruit quality and productivity standards. A special irrigation
system is employed that allows for reduced water consumption.
Crops

The cultivation of the raspberry is accomplished using
cuttings or seedlings, depending on the variety and time of
cultivation. The planting period for achieving a long growing
season runs from May to December. The cultivation is of the
extended type in macrotunnels and greenhouses, being
cultivated on soil ridges or in raised beds with a substrate
based on coconut fiber.
Crop

This crop has started to be developed very intensely in the
last ten years, but it was first introduced in Huelva at the
beginning of this century by companies like ours. At present
cultivation and varietal adaptation are proceeding apace, as
we have learned throughout the course of our development
to always be a step ahead of what our customers demand
of us in terms of the size and flavor of our fruit.
Crops

The strawberry plant is herbaceous and perennial. The
strawberry is a crop that adapts very well to many types of
climates. The optimum values for adequate fruiting are
around 15-20ºC on average per year. This makes our area an
ideal place for cultivation.
Crops

The stone fruit crop comes from a deciduous woody tree. Our
varieties are extra early and require few hours of cold, since
our warm climate makes varieties with stricter requirements
for cold impossible. Our fruit plantations are made up of
peach, nectarine, plum, apricot and Paraguayan
(saturn peach).

A group of berries, rest quietly in a grove tanning in the sun, when suddenly they begin to notice a strange sensation. Elsa, the raspberry, feels an extraordinary lightness, which allows her to jump great distances. Dora, the blackberry, sees her vision enhanced, clearly observing objects far in the distance. Freda, the strawberry, develops muscles and acquires great strength. And Nando the blueberry? Nando can remember how things happened in minute detail, in a demonstration of great memory. And all these amazing superpowers developed in them because of the extraordinary rays of the sun of the province of Huelva, which they will use to make people healthy and fight for a healthier world.
